The Vampire's Bride

Sweet scent fills my senses right,
As thick as mist in darkest night,
Soaring freely but held on tight,
I stroll the streets for one more bite.

I search her out amidst the air,
Secrets bound like her hair,
Sunken dreams, loveless affair,
Sadness follows her crying stare.

Sinister lies, unfaithful wife,
Sudden fear spearing strife,
Teeth sink in like piercing knife,
Stolen now from sicken life.

Sweet taste fills my senses right,
Stolen secrets in darken night,
Now free of sacrificial light,
I stroll the streets for one more bite.
