When someone receives publicity, gets a book deal, gets into a good publication... isn't it amazing how their voice changes? Isn't it amazing how much more confident they sound? Isn't it amazing?
Isn't it amazing how they begin helping others more, pointing out the flaws of their work? Isn't it amazing how they hold their heads higher? After their posted YIPPIE, isn't it amazing how others smile - some of whom have received rejections - and how the enthusiasm is contagious?
Isn't it amazing that when we act like we got a YIPPIE even when we didn't, the YIPPIEs begin showing up?
Okay... back to what I've got to do tonight. But isn't it amazing? The power of endorphins rushing through the brain, pumping a slow-rush adrenalin surge of sheer cheer; until the sun burns brighter from the center of our souls?
Isn't it amazing what a hootin,' rootin' YIPPIE can do?
