Quantcast

Poetry by Lee Minh Sloca

dreamboat

maya's lips sink sinfully
crashing
watermelon into glass

i           swallow them
  anyway
high diving

on top of rose petals that promise shelter

till     she & i're   unmovable

                          landlocked

         as water falters
         stream screams
         and
         ocean chokes

what good is the sun
if
i still lust for
             the thirst of her earth

      so fuck me
      even if i dogged paddle
      i still don't know
how to bridge her and me
      backtogether

so mountain
          top me
                    for letting

rock
          stone me
                    for letting

dirt
          bury me
                    for letting love
                                        drown me for ever
